Compact power supply units of the new QUINT POWER generation maximize the availability of your system. The SFB technology (Selective Fusebreaking Technology) can be also used to trigger standard power circuit breakers quickly and reliably.

Defective current paths are disconnected selectively, the fault is restricted and important system parts remain in operation. Additionally, a comprehensive diagnosis of the connected consumers is carried out by constantly checking the output voltage and output current.

The predictive function monitoring recognizes critical operating states, visualizes and reports them to the controller in good time. QUINT POWER guarantees highest system availability.

Efficiently selective securing using the SFB technology

To magnetically trigger standard power circuit-breakers, power supply units must be capable of supplying a multiple nominal current for a short period of time.

With the SFB technology (Selective Fusebreaking Technology), and six times the nominal current for 12 ms, this current reserve is always available.
